This affordable rustic log cabin is just minutes to downtown Bryson City where you will find many unique shopping opportunities; including boutique shops, local art galleries, handmade and custom mountain crafts, and mountain gift shops. There is also many options for dining. It is also the perfect location for taking a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, riding the picturesque roads of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, rafting and kayaking on the Nantahala River, tubing and hiking at Deep Creek, biking at Tsali, zipling in the Nantahala River Gorge, boating or fishing on Lake Fontana, or simply relaxing on the front porch of your cabin.

Take a look at Smoky Mountain Cabin (sleeps 6), Papa Bear Cabin (Brand new, sleeps 4), and Lazy Bear (sleeps 2). Along with Baby Bear Cabin these cabins accommodate a total of 12 guests. Only problem we had was we had no TV the entire stay due to a Dish network box being bad, we didn't mind though cause we didn't come there to watch TV anyhow, overall it was a GREAT stay!! We will be coming back soon!

It was a very nice stay we enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back in the future. Also love that when the light-bulb outside blew up all we had to do was call and it was fixed within an hour or so while we were out. Made starting the fire easier and more enjoyable with some smores and hot chocolate.

Baby Bear was an excellent cabin - we wanted to get a way and this cabin fit the bill 100%. The convenience of being close to Bryson city while still hiding out in the mountain was exactly what my family needed. We saw the Milky Way from the back yard, I haven't seen that in years.
