- Is booking online secure?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway providers database. It will only be accessible by those authorized with special rights to such systems. They are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Vacation Rental Damage Protection Insurance OR Security Deposit?
**excluded properties: Bear Kottage, Eagle's Nest, Wolf's Den, Captain's Bend, Dogwood, Hideaway, Laurel Overlook, Ray's Cabin, andSmokies
All tenants are required to either pay a one-time $39 CSA Damage Protection Insurance Policy OR a standard, refundable $600 security deposit.
**As a part of your stay, you may purchase a Vacation Rental Damage Protection plan designed to cover unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. If purchased, the policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3,000. Any damages that exceed $3,000 or are not covered under the plan will be charged to the credit card on file. If, during your stay at one of our rental properties, an insured person causes any damage to real or personal property of the unit as a result of inadvertent acts or omissions, the Insurer will reimburse the Insured for the cost of repair or replacement of such property up to a maximum benefit of $3,000. Certain terms and conditions apply. Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy, www.vacationrentalinsurance.com/g20vrd. The Vacation Rental Damage plan can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly Bryson City Cabin Rentals any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage. Please contact Bryson City Cabin Rentals directly if you do not wish to participate in this assignment. In the event you do not wish to purchase this plan, a $600 security deposit is required.
**Security deposits will be refunded once the unit has been inspected of all damages upon guest’s departure. If any damages have occurred or items have been found missing, the cost of replacements will be deducted from the Security Deposit. If damages exceed the $600 Security Deposit amount, the tenant will be responsible for the entire amount and the remaining cost will be charged to the tenant’s card on file. Bryson City Cabin Rentals will refund security deposit (minus before mentioned expenses if necessary) within 45 days of tenant departure.
What is Vacation Rental Insurance - Guest Protect Plan?
CSA Vacation Rental Insurance has been offered with your reservation. Vacation Rental Insurance reimburses for pre-paid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation and force you to incur unplanned expenses. What do I need to bring?
Each rental is supplied with dishes, kitchen utensils, cookware, bed linens, blankets, pillows, and towels. We recommend that you bring the consumable supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, soaps, dish detergent, etc.) that you will need for the duration of your stay. There will be a starter amount of consumables when you arrive, but it is not intended to last the entirety of your stay. You will also need to bring the toiletries and food you require during your vacation.
- Can I bring my pet with me?
We have several homes that are pet friendly. You can check for this option in a variety of ways. You can check in the "Advanced Search Options" after you have selected your preferred dates of travel, you may browse our pet friendly homes under our "Search" drop down, or you can call our office at 888.483.3630 and a receptionist would love to help find a home that is just right for you and your pet. - Fireplaces & Grills:
- The majority of our cabins are equipped with gas burning fireplaces. Guests are welcome to utilize these throughout the fall, winter, and spring months and the directions to lighting are located in the books inside the cabins. Our fireplaces are not operable during the warm weather months, including late spring, summer, and early fall. They are turned on from late fall to early spring, weather/current temperatures pending.
- What are Phone/Internet Services Available?
- Our phone and internet availability varies among our vacation homes. Please check within our Advanced Search Options for cabins with internet and in cabin land-line availability. To check if cellular service is available at a specific property please call our office at 888.483.3630 and one of our reservation consultants will be able to assist you as service varies between providers and locations.
- What are the benefits of a vacation home rental?
Our vacation homes are stocked in such a way that you always feel like you are coming "home" to your "vacation home" rather than returning to a small hotel room. Our homes have full kitchens, with some homes having game rooms, hot tubs and BBQ grills. You will be able to enjoy a full service home while you are on vacation rather than a small, cramped hotel room.
