This gorgeous one bedroom log home is brand new and set up with your every need in mind. It sits nestled in the trees, in a semi-private location just outside of Bryson City. The nice covered porch with rockers is the ideal place to enjoy the beautiful mountain views or breathe the mountain air. If you need a bit more rejuvenation, take a dip in the hot tub or relax by the fire pit. The interior of the cabin is just lovely and is full of country/rustic charm. The cabin features an open floor plan. The living area features a gas log fireplace, comfortable love seat. The kitchen boasts granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, dining table for two, and is fully stocked for two guests. The bedroom area features a queen sized bed. The bath features a stand up shower and also has a stackable washer/dryer.
The Moose Caboose is located just a ten minute drive outside of downtown Bryson City. If you're looking to take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, do a little hiking, fishing, or tubing in the Deep Creek Area of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, or want to poke around small town Bryson City this is the perfect place for you. If you're looking for more exciting outdoor adventures the Nantahala River Gorge is just a 15 minute drive away where you will find world-class whitewater rafting, kayaking, and zip line tours. Fontana Lake is just a 15-20 minute drive and is a lovely spot to try kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. If you love to mountain bike, make sure to check out the Tsali Biking Trails while you're here. The Cherokee Indian Reservation is just 15 minutes away as well, where you can tour the museums, enjoy the rich history of the reservation, enjoy the many shops, or check out Harrah's Cherokee Casino.

We initially booked the Moose Caboose because it allowed pets. I was not sure at the time of booking if we would be bringing our dog or not but I wanted to have something pet friendly just in case. We ended up deciding to bring our beloved dog. I simply called the office, added the pet fee and it was very simple with not hassle. The team member that assisted me was wonderful . She was professional, friendly and very helpful. Thank you Bryson City Cabin Rentals for accommodating ALL of the family.

The Moose Caboose was the most precious cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was a very cozy space for my husband, dog and myself. We enjoyed the super comfortable bed, having the use of a washer/dryer and of course the hot tub. We will be staying at the Moose Caboose again for sure!

Sorry for not responding sooner. We went on to Myrtle Beach in November after our stay with you in late October and time just got away. We're an older couple that have come to love the area around Bryson City and a bit of Cherokee, especially the Reservation Village, the Museum and some of the stores. We've stayed in the Abotts Cabin, the Baby Bear and the Moose Caboose. Each has something the others don't. Overall we like the Moose Caboose best. It has had the best bed and furniture. We had hoped for better weather on this last stay but still had a great time! We hope to return again sometime in 2022.
