South O' Heaven is located in the private, gated community of Alarka Highlands, which is just outside of Bryson City. This beautiful home offers surrounding views of the Smokies all year long. This home has been lovingly constructed from the ground up with rustic details of hardwood floors throughout, rocked gas log fireplace, and modern touches throoughout. The interior has been equipped with your every need in mind. The living area boasts a floor to ceiling rocked gas fireplace, flatscreen television with satellite service, and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and is fully stocked to make a meal right at "home." The first master bedroom is located upstairs and is equipped with a king sized bed, loft sitting area to sip your morning coffee, and private bath with walk-in tiled shower and double sink vanity. On the main floor you will find two additional bedrooms. The first bedroom features a king sized bed with walk-in closet, the second offers two twin sized beds. For guest convenience, there is a full bath on the main level with tub/shower combo. The lower level offers additional living and "hang out" space with an additional television, rocked gas log fireplace, and game room with pool table, foosball, cornhole boards, and a murphy bed for additional sleeping. There is a separate media room, equipped with large sectional, large flat screen tv, and black out curtains for the ultimate movie watching experience. For guest convenience there is also unlimited, high-speed wireless internet and washer/dryer.
Outdoors, South O' Heaven thoroughly embraces its natural beauty with unbelievable mountain views that can be enjoyed year round. Enjoy the crisp, clean mountain air while taking in the gorgeous views, take a long dip in the hot tub, or simply grill up a meal on the gas grill - there's no reason to even leave the cabin, you can enjoy the glorious Smokies here. If you care to explore Alarka Highlands is located about a 30 minute drive to downtown Bryson City, where you can find many delicious local restaurants, hang out at local breweries, take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, or take a hike to waterfalls at the Deep Creek entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. It is also located a little over 30 minutes to Fontana Lake, Tsali Biking Trails, or the Nantahala River Gorge for world renowned white water rafting, ziplining, and kayaking.

My only regret is not being able to stay longer. The views made us all speechless. Not a minute of tv while we were there because the views were all we needed. Will be back!

The team members at Bryson City Cabin Rentals are out of this world. When the original property we booked had issues, they were quick to accommodate us and find us an alternative cabin. We had a few questions during our stay and used the text only line and were always quick to receive a response. The team is incredibly friendly and never made us feel like we were bothersome. They definitely make their guests top priority and we look forward to our next stay knowing we are in good hands!

South O Heaven was the most amazing cabin with the most amazing views. This wasnt the property we originally booked but due to unforeseen issues with our original cabin, we were quickly accommodated and moved here. We were blown away with just how beautiful, cozy, and clean the cabin was. We thought our original cabin was amazing, but South O Heaven was even better. The views were stunning, the hot tub was the perfect place to watch the sunset over the mountains, and because we hadnt booked this as our original destination, we were pleasantly surprised by the additional features of the cabin, like the game space and theater room in the basement. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed and more. We definitely took full advantage of everything the cabin had to offer and look forward to our next stay!

Team members made us feel like family. They were patient answering questions, no matter how minor the issue. From scheduling the reservation to departure, they were readily available and willing to help.

The cabin was spotless and appeared to be brand-new. I did not need my extra towels or kitchen gadgets, because EVERYTHING was provided in abundance! The many toys and games for children were in excellent condition, and kid and Granny alike had a great time playing. Robes and extra towels were provided for the hot tub. It seemed that the owners had a contest to see who could think of the most things to make this cabin great. The road to cabin was well maintained, and with 4-wheel drive even the steep driveway was no problem. We plan to return to this cabin yearly.

My family and my own breath were taken away the moment we stepped into the South O Heaven Cabin...absolutely stunning. Every product, decoration, appliance and goodie in the cabin were of the highest quality, I can tell the cabin owner did not cheap out on ANYTHING in the whole home! To be honest, after seeing the 9000$ pool table and 500$ surround sound system in the movie room (yes, we looked up the prices because we were curious lol) we were all so surprised by how low the rates were daily to stay. This cabin provided me and my family an experience we will NEVER forget. If you are brave enough to treck up that mountain terrain (4WD absolutely necessary) you will not regret it after you see the stunning views of the Smokies that surround you while you're there. We will absolutely be coming back, most likely to this same exact cabin because it was just too incredibly perfect! <3 10/10 recommend, do not hesitate, JUST BOOK!
