Fontana Lake Escape

So enjoyed the cabin! We loved the fully-stocked kitchen and were able to prepare most of our meals at "home". We loved Fontana finger lake, making s'more's, capturing sunsets on the deck, playing games on the beautiful table, and enjoyed all the comforts of home, here on the mountain. The 15-min switch-backs were a bit much at first, but became a fun part of the journey!

Our family had an amazing vacation in part because of staying at fontana lake escape. The location was near everything we wanted to do- white water raft, hike, boat rental on fontana lake, hang out in Bryson city for fireworks and spend time at home playing cards and relaxing with each other. We loved the view from the back porch, made smores by the fire pit and enjoyed the house immensely. Perfect vacation house!

We were at Fontana Lake Escape for two separate 8 day stays. Each week we found the house clean and ready for guests. The porch with that incredible view was very inviting.The proximity to Bryson City, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Deep Creek Park, and the Smoky Mountains gave us a variety of adventures with our children and grandchildren. The spacious kitchen and dining area were a plus when we came back together in the evening to share stories.

The girls were very nice on the phone.
