Looking for a peaceful, wooded retreat for your mountain vacation? Look no further!
Cozy Bear Hideaway is a two bedroom, two bath cabin located in a beautiful, quiet area just outside of Bryson City. This cabin is nestled in the trees with an expansive flat yard, which is perfect for families. There is a lovely hammock in the back, perfect for reading and enjoying the mountain air and sounds of nature surrounding you. If you need to further relax, take a dip in the hot tub on the back deck or sit on the covered front porch and rock your cares away in the porch rockers. It truly is the perfect place to wind down after an adventurous day in the Smokies.
Once inside, you'll never want to leave! Cozy Bear Hideaway has a wonderful, open floor plan complete with vaulted ceilings, gas log stone fireplace, and plenty of natural light. In the living area you can kick back on the new leather furniture, enjoy a nice fire in the floor to ceiling rock fireplace, or snuggle up and watch satellite on the HDTV. If you're looking for a little entertainment, there is a foosball table and plenty of board games to enjoy. Just off the living room is the large, newly built and screened porch that has a large new hot tub, nice new patio furniture, and plush outdoor seating. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook a nice meal right there at the cabin, complete with plenty of seating options and new stainless steel appliances. Another back deck is conveniently located off the kitchen where you will find the gas grill and additional seating. The master bedroom is it's own lovely retreat. It boasts a king sized bed, leather recliner, HDTV, and private bath with shower. Another deck is also located off of the master suite, where you will find a nice private retreat to sit and relax. The second bedroom features a queen sized bed and is located adjacent to an additional bathroom which features a nice sized tub/shower combo. There is also a large laundry room complete with washer and dryer for guest's convenience.
Cozy Bear Hideaway is located within minutes to the Nantahala River Gorge, where you will find an abundance of outdoor adventures such as; white water rafting, kayaking, zipline canopy tours, hiking, and Tsali biking trails. It is also located within minutes to Bryson City, where you can indulge in the town's boutique shops, various dining options, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. If you're wanting to visit the Cherokee Indian Reservation or the Great Smoky Mountain Parkway, it is only a 15 minute drive. The cabin's easy flat access make it the perfect base for all your vacation outings.

Cozy Bear Hideaway offers a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of dining options including bar seating, dining table, and outdoor patio table. In the living room you will find brand-new high end leather living room furniture, rock fireplace, foosball table, and HDTV with satellite. The master bedroom features a king sized bed, HDTV, & private bath with shower. The secondary bedroom features a queen-sized bed and the separated bath has a tub/shower combo. Washer/dryer. Outdoors you will find a new large screened in porch with hot tub, outdoor dining, and seating, a large flat yard, hammock, gas grill, and fire pit. Cabin has flat access.

The living room furniture was extremely comfortable and made relaxation very easy. This place is probably the best equipped and cleanest rental weve ever had anywhere around the country.

I had to call initially upon check in when the code for the door wasnt working. I got a voicemail the first call, and was able to get the door to work a few minutes later. The team called me back and left messages twice, trying to make sure Id been able to get j to the property (I had my phone on silent and didnt even realize it).

Cozy Bear really lived up to it's name - so cozy, so comfortable, so well stocked, so clean and just perfect for our visit! I was visiting my grown son who lives in Bryson City to celebrate a late Christmas over New Years weekend. The Christmas decorations and Christmas tree were still up and this was a bonus! We loved it! I will be back!

Our stay at Cozy bear cabin was very nice and relaxing. The cabin was clean. There were a lot of extras in the kitchen which was nice. The back porch was so peaceful and a great place to enjoy coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The hot tub was great. We had a wonderful time and hope to be able to go back again next year.

Cozy bear is a very nice cabin to stay for a weekend getaway. Location is within 8-9 miles from downtown Bryson City. The road to the cabin was easy to manage. This cabin was very clean and well equipped. The hot tub was excellent (very spacious). The view sitting in the hot tub was relaxing. Beds were super comfortable. Bryson City has plenty of good food (just say no to chain restaurants ). Overall a very nice stay.

I didn't have to talk with anyone by phone because you have made the process flawless with organization through website, emails, etc.

We absolutely LOVED our stay. I would love to return to that property. It was perfect! I didn't mention this before but the washer/dryer came in handy with beach towels after we used the hot tub. The washer/dryer looked brand new and I noticed it had a hot water heater that provides almost constant hot water. Dishes, utensils, and everything in kitchen were of good quality and well-stocked.
