This lovely three bedroom, two bathroom home is filled with rustic, country charm. Originally built in 1975, this lovely stone cottage sits on 7.5 acres in a wooded, scenic location with views to the west, south, and east at elevation of 2,800+ feet with stunning sunrise and sunset views. View 280 has had many recent improvements including new flooring, ceiling fans, bathroom renovations, refurbish of kitchen, custom countertops, deck improvements, comfortable outdoor seating, and Eno hammocks. The home has a great room with wood burning fireplace, fully stocked kitchen with wooden butcher block counter tops, and views that can be enjoyed throughout. The master bedroom is equipped with queen sized bed, the master bath features a shower. The guest bedrooms feature two twin sized beds in one bedroom, and full sized bed in the other. The guest bath features a soaker tub/shower combo. The outdoor space is quite a drawing feature of this lovely home. Large decks with gorgeous long range views, rocked fire pit that can be enjoyed for roasting marshmallows or relaxing by the fire, hammock swing, outdoor shower, and hot tub - what more perfect way to enjoy the Smokies?

The Cherokee Indian Reservation is just a short 15 minute drive, as well as Nantahala River Gorge with whitewater rafting, kayaking, and zippling.

I did correspond via email once to request adding a night to our stay. I received a prompt reply and was able to add the extra night without any difficulty. Your office is very easy to work with.

Loved the stay and will probably return. I did have a couple of visits from raccoons. I would like to recommend an outdoor trash can that is raccoon proof. After 2 nights of their raids, my wife recommended putting the can in the laundry room and that solved the issue. (She's smarter than I am.) I also missed having a dishwasher in the house, but that won't stop me from coming back. Love the View280!

The property was absolutely breathtaking, we never wanted to leave! We watched the sunrise and sunset everyday we were there and it was the perfect place to do so. The porch and the view was the best part. Everything inside was perfect as well including the fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms, and family area with games, movies, and lots of books. This was the perfect couples getaway and would be perfect for a family as well. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

We booked this cabin for many reasons. It had easy access for my my mother who has mobility issues. It is very open so we were very comfortable, never felt crowded.
The views are wonderful, not sure we have enough words to do them justice. Cabin is very family friendly. We had a perfect stay and cant wait to do it again.
