Sweet Retreat is a two bedroom, one bath cottage located in the Bryson Village community. This lovely creekside home features a nice deck with hot tub, and indoor/outdoor dining,
Bryson Village is a premier vacation rental community located in Bryson City and right outside of the heart of downtown Bryson City. With the Historic Bryson House as it's centrally located property and an additional fifteen vacation rentals, the community all together can accommodate up to 78 guests. Each rental is lovingly equipped with every modern touch you need - flatscreen tv with Direct TV service in every living room and bedroom, gas log fireplace in the living areas, fully stocked kitchens with granite counter tops and stainless appliances, indoor and outdoor dining spaces in every home, full laundry in every home, nice decks on each property with gas grill and hot tubs, high speed wireless internet access, comfortable furnishings, and tastful decor. The Village is a perfect spot for your Smoky Mountain Getaway; whether you are doing a large gathering with a wedding, business retreat, family reunion, group vacation, large group gathering, or a small affordable family getaway in an individual cottage. With large group bookings - The Historic House is the perfect spot for your group gatherings with nice large entertaining spaces with the smaller cottages offering additional and private sleeping quarters.
Bryson Village's location cannot be beat. Located right outside of downtown Bryson City, but within the city limits, Bryson City's amenities are right there to enjoy. There are several local restaurants to try, along with craft breweries and boutique/local shops. You of course can also take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which is famous for the Polar Express ride and the Great Pumpkin Patch Express. If you're interested in more outdoor entertainment, you can take a ride over to the Deep Creek entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and enjoy the hiking trails, waterfalls, fishing, tubing, bike riding, or picnic areas. If you're looking to learn more about the area's deep roots and cultural history, take a 15 minute ride over to the Cherokee Reservation and check out the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, Unto These Hills drama, campfire tales in the summer time, the Oconoluftee Village, and the Pioneer Village. If you're looking for nightlife, you can also check out Harrah's Cherokee Casino. For adrenaline pumping outdoor adventure, make sure to check out the Nantahala Gorge area which is known for it's whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip line canopy tours, horseback riding, and hiking.

Our 2nd year for a family Christmas trip. No disappointments from us. The perfect setting for our 4 families to be close to one another and yet each have their own cottage. Not sure we could find a more appropriate place for our family to spend the week together having family fun.

After making the automated reservations online, I made a call to verify my reservations and the check-in process.I also had questions about the missing info like directions.
The person I spoke with checked the records and assured me that my reservations were good and explained the email process to me. The explanation of how, what and when I would receive the emails was very helpful.The person was courteous, polite and patient.

Perfect with one exception the parking; the sign said pull straight in and we did with the second vehicle. We had two vehicles and there is no way the rental beside us at the end would have been able to park if we were to have parked both vehicles straight in. Insted we parked the first vehicle parallel to the rental (Sweet Retreat) by backing in and stopping with the passenger door directly in front of the entrance door to the rental.This worked great. I suggest a sign that says (2nd Sweet Retreat Vehicle-Parallel Park-Back In Snugly Against the Curb). This would be helpful to both renters and avoid possible conflict among renters for not following the direction to park "Straight In".

The property was absolutely beautiful. My son and husband enjoyed the creek so much and my daughter and I enjoyed watching them be kids while sitting in the hot tub! Being so close to the city is a HUGE plus! We never had to travel far to eat or do all the activities we planned. Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay! This was our first family vacation as new family. My kids are teens and getting married again after it just being us for so long has been a big adjustment. This experience brought our family together and we were able to create a stronger bond that I have been wanting for years. So for me, this vacation was more than a vacation. It was a life saver and game changer for our future! How can you put a price on that? Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I didnt think during such a difficult time in our world right now all of this was possible.
