Whether you're looking to do a little fishing in the mountains, want a cool creekside cabin, or just like the thought of waking up in the beautiful Smoky Mountains next to a mountain stream - Captain's Bend is the perfect cottage for you! This three bedroom, two bath home is located right on gorgeous stocked Trout Creek. Simply open your windows and enjoy the the serene sounds of the creek or you can relax on the covered porch and enjoy a front row seat while relaxing in your rocking chair or soaking in the hot tub. This private retreat will be just what you need.
Captain's Bend is located in a nice quiet community of Eagle Cove, which is just that - a cove. There are four cottages located in the quaint little cove, all sitting on the creek. Captain's Bend is located on the far end of the cove, by itself, so it offers privacy if that is what you are looking for. However, we do offer all the cabins for group rentals. Captain's Bend sleeps up to 6, Bear Kottage sleeps 2, Wolf Den sleeps 4, and Eagle's Nest sleeps 4.
All of these cabins are located about 20 minutes from Bryson City and all there is to do in the Smokies. So if you are up for a little adventure, check out our Things To Do page for information on rafting, kayaking, zipling, horse back riding, hiking, tubing, and boat riding that is available in the area. Also located close to Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Smoky Mountain Railroad.

Take a look at Wolf's Den (sleeps 4), Bear Kottage (sleeps 2), and Captain's Bend (sleeps 6). These 3 cottages along with Eagle's Nest accommodate a total of 16 guests.

We LOVED it!! My family of five plus one dog has stayed at Capitan's Bend for 4 days. The cabin was clean. The directions were concise. We had no trouble finding the place. The surroundings are so peaceful and breathtaking. We did not want to leave and are already planning a trip back in the very near future.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. the drive up is beautiful, the houses are great and the rolling creek along with the fire ring and hot tub made for an absolutely fabulous atmosphere. We will be back next year and will probably rent more than one of the houses.

My family loved the vacation. The kids loved the nature and the creek. They were in it a few Times. They loved it more then Disney and we usually go to Disney way to much. So this was the first time I had did a trip more for the beauty and experience nature at it's finest.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and found our (very) spacious cabin. We could have fit the extended family in there. The location was BEAUTIFUL! Beautiful little creek running behind the cabin, we could hear it all night. Gas powered fire place was simple to use and provided a lot of heat. We enjoyed the fire pit outside while in the hot tub. We would love to come back again!!
