Description
Sleep to the sounds of the creek, fish right outside your back door and enjoy your catch for dinner, lazily swing on the porch, have a picnic, roast marshmallows over the fire, relax in the hot tub – there's a week's worth of vacation without even leaving the cabin!
Creekside Cottage is located down a winding road following the rushing Alarka Creek; but just 15 minutes from Bryson City's shops, grocery stores and restaurants. And close to Nantahala River rafting, the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, Fontana Lake and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
With three bedrooms, this cottage will sleep up to eight making it a great getaway spot for friends and family.

Place was great cozy great for family trip, not so much if you want privacy as doors are not lockable and walls are thin. place was clean and had all amenities needed beds were comfortable. Fishing may be better in the spring. Easy to find. need Tv's in bedrooms for down time.

The cabin was great! Upon waking in it felt like home. There were cards and board games to play, a fire pit near the creek and tons of outdoor seating to enjoy the great scenery! We will definitely be back in the future.

This is a well maintained and clean cabin. I was surprised by the size. Much bigger than expected. Alarka creek makes the cabin the perfect location. Very peaceful and relaxing. Not too far from anything really. I would highly recommend this sweet little cabin cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay and wished we had more time to spend there. It was so fun for the family to stay there, especially with the swings out over the creek! The only downside was the extremely low water pressure, intermittent WiFi, and the sports channels on the satellite were jumping (but not the other channels). Otherwise, this stay was just awesome! All in all, we really loved it!

Creekside cottage is a lovely cabin. It has a quaint and rustic feel, but is very spacious. We came to fish, but found out once there that Alarka Creek is only stocked twice yearly. Cherokee stocks twice weekly. A couple of native brown trout were caught in Alarka, but many rainbow trout were caught in Cherokee. It was so nice to be off of the beaten path. The dock, swings, grill, firepit and large shoreline area were all all great. My husband and son literally stayed outside until bedtime. It was absolutley a fabulous time.

My family - all adults and our dog- really enjoyed our stay at Creek Side Cottage. We spent a lot of time every day sitting by the water and playing in the water. Plenty of activities nearby (within 20 minutes drive) for outdoor experiences. The cottage is comfortable and retro. Although it is small, we all commented how it didn't feel cramped.
