The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and HDTV with Direct TV & DVD player. The master bath boasts double sinks, two person jacuzzi tub , and rock vented gas log fireplace. The second bedroom features a queen sized bed and closet. The main bath is conveniently located with a tub/shower. Unlimited Wireless Internet.
The cabin is located in the gated, secluded Alarka Highlands Community. The private nature of the property allows for nice hikes and views throughout. Alarka Highlands is located about 15 miles from Bryson City, which is about a 30 minute drive. In the area you will find plenty of venues for entertainment and adventure including: The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Deep Creek Community, Nantahala River Gorge, Tsali Biking, Fontana Lake.

Honeymoon Ridge is located in Alarka Highlands, which is a high elevation community. The main roads into the community, while paved the majority of the way, are very steep and curvy. The secondary roads and driveways in Alarka Highlands are gravel. If you are uncomfortable with driving mountainous roads or have a low profile vehicle, please give us a call so that we can advise you through the reservation process.

Friendly and well spoken, no problems at all. Even the clean up crew were there by 10:30. Check out was at 10:00 we left everything in order as noted.

We definitely should have driven our truck instead of the car it took at least 35 minutes to get up and down the mountain, but upon of arriving it was awesome. Well worth the effort, thank you and your staff for everything.

Wonderful cabin, clean and new! Only suggestions are that in the future you clarify how to get to honeymoon ridge better- directions were great until the end. They said moose lodge will be on your right, and honey moon ridge to the left. To us that implied the next left, when in fact we had to continue driving a ways further past moose lodge to get to our cabin. Also I saw the big beautiful bath tub in the master bathroom but couldn't use it because the hot water ran out after I barely had 1/4 the tub full. Only complaint is there was hardly any hot water, otherwise its a beautiful cabin and we enjoyed it! Thank you!
