This affordable rustic log cabin is just minutes to downtown Bryson City where you will find many unique shopping opportunities; including boutique shops, local art galleries, handmade and custom mountain crafts, and mountain gift shops. There is also many options for dining. It is also the perfect location for taking a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, riding the picturesque roads of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, rafting and kayaking on the Nantahala River, tubing and hiking at Deep Creek, biking at Tsali, zipling in the Nantahala River Gorge, boating or fishing on Lake Fontana, or simply relaxing on the front porch of your cabin.

Take a look at Smoky Mountain Cabin (sleeps 6), Papa Bear Cabin (Brand new, sleeps 4), and Lazy Bear (sleeps 2). Along with Baby Bear Cabin these cabins accommodate a total of 12 guests. This was a fantastic little cabin. My wife and I loved the cozy feel and the simplicity of it. We enjoyed not having very good internet because it kept us off our phones but we had enough to plan our days and make phone calls. The stay in the cabin was great no matter what the weather. It was both sunny and it rained durring our stay and the rain on the roof was as perfect as you would imagine in a cozy cabin with a fire going.
