2 bedroom, 2 bath rustic log cabin in a private setting. Papa Bear Cabin is a great cabin for a honeymoon or a getaway for four.
Relax on the porch after a day out exploring all that the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer – white water rafting, tubing, hiking, biking, zip lines, jet boat rides, fishing, waterfalls, and of course train rides on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
Papa Bear Cabin is just minutes to Bryson City restaurants and shopping, 8 miles to the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino. and 14 miles from the Nantahala River Gorge and whitewater activities.
Amenities
Wood burning fireplace and firepit, charcoal grill, satellite TV, covered porch with rocking chairs. Full kitchen, dining area. Queen size beds in both bedrooms. Two full bathrooms - one with a tub/shower and one with a shower. Washer & dryer, heat and A/C. This cabin does not have a hot tub.

If you are planning a family gathering, there are 3 other cabins within walking distance of Papa Bear Cabin. This is the perfect spot for a family reunion or get together.

The man that helped us understand how to use the lockbox was extremely patient with us on the phone.
The cleanup couple that arrived was also understanding and patient giving us a few more minutes the morning we checked out. It had rained heavily that morning with Bryson city being closed for awhile. It made packing the car more challenging for us.
