2 bedroom, 2 bath rustic log cabin in a private setting. Papa Bear Cabin is a great cabin for a honeymoon or a getaway for four.
Relax on the porch after a day out exploring all that the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer – white water rafting, tubing, hiking, biking, zip lines, jet boat rides, fishing, waterfalls, and of course train rides on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
Papa Bear Cabin is just minutes to Bryson City restaurants and shopping, 8 miles to the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino. and 14 miles from the Nantahala River Gorge and whitewater activities.
Amenities
Wood burning fireplace and firepit, charcoal grill, satellite TV, covered porch with rocking chairs. Full kitchen, dining area. Queen size beds in both bedrooms. Two full bathrooms - one with a tub/shower and one with a shower. Washer & dryer, heat and A/C. This cabin does not have a hot tub.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. A relaxing weekend was made better by coming "home" to this property that is centrally located and extremely well kept and comfortable. Only wish I had known about the farm nearby that had not only fresh produce but drinks and a small caf. We will know next time!

REALLY ONLY SPOKE WITH THEM ONCE. THE COMPUTER DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE RETURN OF OUR SIGNED LEASE SO WE DID NOT RECEIVE DIRECTIONS TO THE CABIN 7 DAYS PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL. HOWEVER, I CALLED AND WAS IMMEDIATELY SENT THE DIRECTION WITH APOLOGIES. GOOD EXPERIENCE.

LOVED IT. COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR BETTER ACCOMIDATIONS. ROAD UP THE HILL WAS A LITTLE SCARY, ONE LANE AND STEEP. BUT THEN WE HAVE LEARNED TO EXPECT THAT IN THE SMOKEY MOUNTAINS.
