This cozy little cabin is just a few feet away from the fully stocked Alarka Creek. Enjoy your time on the back porch from the rocking chairs or hot tub while looking and listening to the calming sounds of the creek. You may enjoy an evening campfire in the fire pit located just feet away from the creek, or cook your family meal on a charcoal grill. For family use there is a 12’ X 16’ tent platform to support putting up a tent for the kids or family to enjoy the outdoor camping experience, a two person Hammock adjacent the creek for afternoon relaxing ; there is also a variety of games supplied in an outdoor box for your family enjoyment. This fully stocked creek supplies family entertainment for the avid fisherman or novice. The creek is also perfect for wading or just cooling off.
Our cozy little cabin is only 6.5 miles from Bryson City and the unique dining and shopping experiences available in this quaint little town. For those seeking family adventure, close by is the world famous Nantahala River where the whole family can go rafting, kayaking, tubing or zip lining. Also, you may choose to explore the area by going hiking, biking, or horseback riding on the many trails open to you. You may choose to take a relaxing ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad or rent a boat on the beautiful Lake Fontana. You may enjoy yourself by driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway or explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or walk the Appalachia Trail. These are just some of your choices available to you, or you may decide to explore Harrah’s Casino, or other adventures available nearby. This property is well kept and equipped
The outdoor area is especially sweet with the chairs and fire pit
The stream that runs directly in front of the cabin is clear and perfect for just soaking tired bodies after a quick dip in the front porch hot tub.
This cabin interior is so well decorated you really feel you are spending the night in a friends home
Also the owners have gone a step above with the mattresses and beds. Slept so well.
Also hiking, rafting, restaurants are only short distance from the cabin on well paved roads
We did however see a big black bear on our morning walk with our dog very close to cabin
So be sure to keep all your trash picked up and inside your cabin until departure
Were already planning our next trip to this little sanctuary in the mountains

When I came down with covid just days before my son and I were scheduled to go on our much-awaited trip, the customer service team was incredibly sympathetic and helpful. I was so upset about having to reschedule but they made it super easy to do and helped me not to worry about any details.

Location of the cabin was great and it had a creek at the back door. We were in a gated community. Back porch was screened and was pet friendly with a pet gate.
I did cook some and there was plenty of cookware, dishes, and silverware.
There is a cabin beside and I will be renting both of them next year. Grandkids will enjoy all that the property has to offer.
You are so close to the NOC and Bryson city.

Before the stay I was informed of a maintenance issues an thought we would have to move but with in twenty mins I got a call back that it would be fixed in time an we would not have to move so that was great but they gave us options just in case which was superb service. Any time I had a question it was answered very quickly. Everything was set up an ready to go. Everything was cleaned an easy to find for usage.

The stay was amazing better than we ever had any where else. Normally when you rent away from home the beds are the worst but these bed were like being at home. The view from the windows was beautiful, you have a neighboring canin but we had no issues we saw them maybe one time an they were super nice people, coming to the cabin was pretty easy, the going out is a bit sketchy for a smaller car but our suv did fine. The little propane fire heater thing was my husband's favorite and of course the hot tub. My kids enjoyed the hammock an the water flowing behind us, I personally loved the gated porch for my dog an kids to stay safe. We will definitely use this place again in the future.

We were alerted ahead of our stay that Direct TV service was not available at some of the properties. While that was a disappointment to us, we did prepare for no TV viewership and brought DVDs and other entertainment elements. We were pleasantly surprised to find Direct TV WAS operational for the cabin. We did appreciate the "heads -up" on this possible lack of service during our stay.

We enjoy this "getaway" so much that we plan to "gift" a getaway to our brother/sister-in-law for their 30th wedding anniversary next year. We will be in touch next year to reserve a stay for them . . . and I'm sure for us.

This was our fourth stay at the property and each time is better than the last. We did like the new furniture arrangement, it was slit more functional. We will continue to stay with you as much as availability allows us. Even our dog Asia gets excited when we tell her we are going to the cabin, it feels like our second home.
